"Kunnonpaikka" is a rehabilitation, research and recreation center owned by FARR. It is located in Siilinjärvi, near the city of Kuopio in eastern Finland, by the beautiful Lake Kallavesi.

The main emphasis of the operation at "Kunnonpaikka" is on medical and occupational rehabilitation of the working-aged, maintenance of working capacity, geriatric rehabilitation and rehabilitation of the seriously disabled.

The forms of rehabilitation at "Kunnonpaikka" are

• "ASLAK": occupational, medical rehabilitation of the working-age
• "TYK": rehabilitation to maintain working capacity
• medical rehabilitation of the seriously disabled
• rehabilitation courses for patients suffering from rheumatic and locomotive diseases
• geriatric rehabilitation for veterans, disabled ex-servicemen and their spouses
• individual rehabilitative institutional treatment
• "TYKY": work community training to maintain working capacity

"Kunnonpaikka" is also an elegant spa hotel providing versatile recreation and sport facilities and luxurious pampering treatments. The modern pool area has seven different swimming and amusement pools. Fun events and adventure sports will be arranged for each group of guests individually. Spa hotel "Kunnonpaikka" has 146 rooms, with beds for a total 271 guests. Special rooms are also available for guests with disabilities and allergies, and for families.
